From our Owner

Our vision is to provide food and desserts

that not only look good, but taste good as well.

I am Candace Green, owner and creator of Candace's Kitchen.  I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but raised in Phoenix, Arizona where I currently reside. I have Southern roots as my parents and extended family members are from two small towns in Arkansas: Camden and Magnolia. My mother and my aunts have always had a love for cooking and baking, which evidently and delightedly was passed down to me. The attention and details I give to my cooking and baking ensure that the right amount of seasonings are added to every meal, and the right amount of butter and sugar are added to every dessert. Although my own curiosity and creativity have fueled my passion for cooking, I learned most of what I know from my mother and from experimenting with different combinations of ingredients. The opportunity to learn and experiment in the kitchen has resulted in me having enough experience and confidence in my cooking and baking skills to try anything. Utilizing my creativity in the kitchen is my passion and happy place; I'm thankful to share my gifts and talent with each and every client.


I originally operated under the name of Candace's Goodie Jars and More from October 2014 to June 2020. However, in July 2020, I decided that it was time to expand the business and offer food services along with desserts. Candace's Kitchen is based in Phoenix, Arizona (out of state bookings are accepted) and provides catering services, as well as private chef services for special events and occasions, business luncheons, and private intimate dinners.


Our vision is to provide food and desserts that not only taste good but also have a wonderful presentation. We strive to satisfy every tastebud and we pride ourselves on offering the highest level of service to our clients.
